It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James Stephen Cordiner – Stuart’s Dad.

He was the rock of our family – a loving Husband, Dad and Grandpa and an astute businessman. The 4th generation to run Cordiners, he was responsible for adding the Timber Centre in the 1980s and setting Cordiners on the road to be the thriving Timber and Builders merchant it is today. He was a man of faith and integrity and his example will continue to guide us.

A service of thanksgiving for the life of J. Stephen Cordiner will be held at Deeside Christian Fellowship Church, Milltimber on Monday, July 24th at 12 noon to which all family and friends are warmly invited. 


Cordiners will remain closed all day on 24th July 2023.
