Already Cordiners is stocking additional ancillary products in the showroom such as competitively priced screws, nails and fixings. Customers will still be able to purchase the same range of high quality timber products, but will now also see a basic range of building supplies including cement, bricks, blocks, slabs, sand and aggregates.
With new software currently being installed, customers will notice an improvement in efficiency and turnaround time when visiting. Upgrading of the yard means more space and easier access for delivery and collection.
Cordiners will continue to expand the building supplies ranges throughout the year and by 2018 plan to be a one stop shop for all timber and building supplies.
Stuart Cordiner, the current managing director of Cordiners, comments “Despite the current downturn in Aberdeen we must be optimistic about the future.Family owned and run businesses such as Cordiners have an important part to play in the economy of Great Britain.More than ever customers are looking for outstanding personal service, quick delivery and value for money with the convenience of buying all the products they need at one time – and this is what we can offer.”
